The following Excelsior patches will be installed on production Friday morning 7/27 between 5am and 6am:
8s19668 - SICAS patch #8S19668 changes the following for Excelsior/ETA Certification: 1) Change to Evaluation Year Credits calculation to reflect Credits Earned when Evaluation Term is 1. 2) When the Enrollment Rule used is STANDARD, reduce the Term Credits Enrolled and Eligible Hours by the number of Remedial Hours

8s19673 - New guidance from HESC on rounding credits in Excelsior processing
Patch #8S19677 is an important patch that all campuses should load immediately. This patch addresses the following: Campuses that lumped transfer credits needed to break out the terms on the SOAYECE form. SUNY Farmingdale reported that the .out file did not contain the credits. A script is provided to identify errors ExcEtaCredErrorRpt.sql. This script will identify by batch id problems with students. Only the last completed batch can be re-run by setting the SOBYEBT_PROCESS_FLAG to Null. Other students that should have been reported with eligible credits should be sent to HESC on a manual spreadsheet. This patch preserves changes on the SOAYECE for Certification files. The edits must be performed again once the patch is loaded, but all edits will be brought forward on the next certification batch and each subsequent batch. A new GOPYLOD _04 lis file will compare the edits to what the process calculates so you may examine your edits to see if further changes are needed.
