Our CIFS and NFS shares have been successfully moved from our NetApp MetroCluster to the new array, and services have been restored. Please let us know if anything is not working right after the migration.

As part of our move to a new storage array, we have copied our CIFS and NFS shares from our NetApp MetroCluster to the new array, and we now need to cut over to the new array for those shares. This will involve a short downtime at 4am on Saturday, July 25th for a large number of services that rely on CIFS or NFS. We expect the downtime to last less than an hour. Services impacted by the downtime include:

Docuware
Banner
Xtender
Appworx
Knightweb
MyGeneseo
www.geneseo.edu (including custom sites)
Databases on db5, db6, db8
Mailman
Local SMTP
Mysql Databases
SmartCall
Docuware

We will update this status once services are brought back online.

This scheduled maintenance affected: Web (Geneseo Website, Wiki, MyGeneseo), Administrative Systems (APM Advancement Reporting, AppWorx, Argos, Banner, Docuware, Xtender - Banner Document Management System), and Campus Services (SAN (Storage Area Network)).
