We have updated the Geneseo mobile app to use web-based authentication, which appears to be working correctly. We are still working on restoring the biometric-protected "native" authentication feature of the Geneseo mobile app, but are unfortunately not close to a solution. Since a feasible workaround for authenticating to the Geneseo mobile app, we are going to mark the Central Authentication system upgrade as complete and communicate again when we are able to restore "native" authentication to the Geneseo mobile app.

Update
Our Central Authentication login system has been upgraded and is functional, with the exception of logging in to the Geneseo mobile app. We are going to leave the new system in place as we work to develop a fix for the Geneseo mobile app and will provide an update on our progress by 1p.

We will be upgrading our Central Authentication login system tomorrow morning at 6 AM, which will introduce the new login screen referenced in the message to accountholders-l@geneseo.edu. All users who had long-term Central Auth sessions will need to log in again. If the upgrade is unsuccessful we will revert back to our existing Central Auth servers and reschedule the upgrade.
