We believe we have resolved a recent issue some users were experiencing where they were sporadically unable to access SAML-based services such as DegreeWorks or SUNY's Self-Service HR Portal. Users were seeing error messages indicating "too many redirects" or "being redirected in a way that would never complete". The problem was traced to our authentication servers that were unable to store temporary data necessary for those transactions to complete.
